Destro to Ac Milan?

Destro? We’ll see. He may join us." Galliani said to the press.

Destro is valued at €14-15m by Genoa & Siena who co-own him. The price could drop to around €10m if other players are included. (GdS).

Mattia Destro, born on 20 March 1991, played for Inter Milan youth yeams before he moved to Genoa. In Genoa he got first team football but many games he had to follow from the bench and he played 16 games during his first whole season and netted two goals, one goal in his debut.
Mattia Destro moved, on loan, to Siena were he was getting plenty of first team games and he ended up as the top scorer in the 2011/2012 season with 12 goals in 30 games.

Do we really need Destro though? We have Ibrahimovic, Pato, Cassano, Robinho and El Sharaawy on the striker position already. Unless one of the strikers leave, then there is room for Destro.

El Shaarawy about his first season at Milan

El Shaarawy who was very successful and impressive during his first year spoke about his experiences with the club and fans. Recently he signed a 5 year contract with Ac Milan which makes El Shaarawy a 100% Ac Milan player.

"It was a great season. I didn’t expect to play this much: 28 matches and four goals. I could perhaps have done a bit more, but there’s still time to do so in the next few years," El Shaarawy said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
His best moment of the season was his debut in SanSiro.

"My debut for Milan was fantastic. It was such an amazing feeling, also because I was right under the Curva Sud.
Popular among fans and players already

"It was an experience that I’ll never forget. It was like I was lost. I felt like I was in seventh heaven."

Muntari Interview

“It is the first major injury of my career, I have been quite lucky really. I was playing football with my friends, not on the beach though – I don’t go the beach, I can’t swim. It was a normal pitch. I could have picked up an injury playing for the national team, instead it happened in these circumstances. It hurt and so I immediately called Milan. Is Adriano Galliani angry with me? He has every right to be, but I know my body and what its reaction will be: I will be back soon. I’m not saying I’ll recover in a couple of days and I know I can’t push myself too far, but I will be back soon. January? Earlier. In any case, the club has stood beside me and will wait for my complete recovery.”

Rossoneri fans wish you a speedy recovery Muntari!

Lass Diarra close to Milan?

A defensive midfielder is what Galliani and Ac Milan is looking for at the moment and according to Lass representative, a deal could be made soon.

“Lassana Diarra is on vacation in USA. I think that the negotiations will really take off when he returns to Europe, Lassana Diarra to Milan is absolutely a possible deal. Milan like the player. Lass Diarra’s contract expires June 30th 2013 and that means that it won’t cost much to sign him."

“The problem is Lassana Diarra’s salary. He earns €4.5 million per season. I spoke with Adriano Galliani and Massimiliano Allegri about Lassana Diarra when we were on the MSC cruise. And I can say that Lass is definitely one of the players that Milan are the most interested in. The next step is to negotiate about Lassana’s salary. As for the rest: Milan and Real Madrid have an excellent relationship…”

The salary seems to be the issue but lets hope Mr. Galliani can solve it! Lass would be a great replacement for Van Bommel and he has many years ahead of him.

Anderson to Ac Milan?

Anderson Team Manchester United"Anderson has not kicked on as the club hoped," a source told Goal.com "With Inter and AC interested, United would certainly be willing to let him go - for the right price."

Anderson who hasn't lived up to Man Utd's hopes but still has a huge amount of talent in him, we have to keep in mind that this young man is only 24 years. He would add more creativity to our midfield. If Ac Milan get him, then we have to let someone go, at moment we have plenty of midfielders.

Happy Birthday Maldini!

Paolo Maldini turns 44 today. Happy birthday Paolo Maldini, wishes from all rossoneri fans.

Tuttosport claims that both Milan and Inter are interested in signing Samir Handanovic.

Maldini: "Generally, Milan always start their transfer campaign slowly and then they make their move in the end. Let’s wait and see."

Ac Milan players in Euro cup

France: Mexes was suspended in France 2-0 defeat against Spain in the quater final.

Italy: Abate, Nocerino, Montelivo and Cassano all played in the quaterfinal victory over England. Montolivo's performance was very impressive, despit missing a penalty kick, he controlled the game well and timed his tackles excellent to break up Englands attacks. Abate who got to play ahead of Maggio, had little to do in defence but impressed when it was time to defend and offered attacks on his right wing. Cassano who also got to start, had a hard time against the big England defenders but everytime he got the ball, he was a treat. Didn't seem to be at his best today. Nocerino was introduced in the second half and was close scoring but his header was ruled out for offside. Great performance by our Ac Milan Italian internationals! Congrats to make it to the semi finals!
Lets hope Italy can defeat Germany!

Transfer News

Giampaolo Pazzini Andreas Granqvist of Genoa CFC is pulled by his shirt by Giampaolo Pazzini of FC Internazionale Milano during the Serie A match between Genoa CFC and FC Internazionale Milano at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on December 13, 2011 in Genoa, Italy.

Genoa defender Andreas Granqvist has stated that both AC Milan and Inter are interested in signing him this summer. Andreas who joined Genoa last season had a very succesful year at the club with solid defending.
"I know I'm on their wish-lists,"
"We'll see what happens. But it shows that I have had a good season at Genoa."

Kaka can make a comeback in Ac Milan this season. Last week Galliani said: " I am 100% sure Kaka won't return to Ac Milan."
But according to reports, Kaka's representative is in Ac Milan negotiating a deal. Real Madrid has allowed Kaka to speak to other clubs about potential transfers. It would be nice to see Kaka in Ac Milan again. The question is, he has more to give?

Captain 2012/2013?

When Gattuso, Nesta, Inzaghi, Seedorf and Zambrotta left this summer we lost quality players but we also lost our captains. The ones who been in the team the longest and knew it the best. Ambrosini is the only left with plenty of Ac Milan experience. We can all agree that Ambrosini won't be able to Captain Ac Milan next season. Mainly because his body can't play to many games and that he is not getting better and faster.

Who are our options though?
Thiago Silva, Abbiate and Ibrahimovic should be are main options for the captiancy next season. Two of our most important and best player, Thiago and Ibra are two winners who pushes their team forward. Ibra has shown his ability to lead a team during Euro Cup with Sweden. Thiago has also gotten the chance to lead his country as the captain. Abbiate with many years of experience in Ac Milan is a natural candidate for the captaincy next season. But a goalkeeper as the captain is not always the best option since the goalkeeper can't communicate much with his teammates and coaches during the game.

Who is going to wear the captian armband next season?
Either Ibra or Silva to become Captain of Ac Milan next season.
Personally, I think Silva will become our captain next season.

Kevin Constant

Date of birth: May 15 1987
Nationality: France
Position: Midfielder
A real warrior on the field

Kevin Constant, French born Guinean, started off his career in Toulose academy. In Toulose, Kevin went through several youth teams until he got the chance in the first team. Kevin didn't get more than two games at Toulose and he needed more playing time to develop as a player so he left Toulose to go to the second division team, Chateauroux. Kevin played three succesful seasons at Chateauroux before he got an offer from the Serie A club, Chievo. It was first a loan deal but after a impressive first season in Serie A, the loan was made permanent. A month after the deal was made, he got transfered to Genoa. Kevin played 21 games for Genoa during his first and only season and scored one goal. He impressive with his speed and his running up and down the field. A great two way player who keeps the ball within the team. The ball possesion is important for Milan and Kevin Constant is the right player to bring in. Kevin Constant joined Ac Milan on a loan deal but there is an option for Ac Milan to make the deal permanent.
Welcome and Good Luck Kevin Constant!

Video: Kevin Constant very impressive performance in the Ac Milan Vs Chievo game shows what great player and fighter this man is.

Gattuso The Warrior

Career
Gattuso was a aggresive, winner and hard tackling player during his time in Ac Milan. Gattuso started off his career at Perugia but he didnt stay long there. He transfered to Rangers in Scotland in 1997 as a 19 year old. Gattuso didnt feel right at home at Rangers because the coach played him out of position. He was forced to play right back some games. After a season at Rangers he got transfered back to Italy for the newly promoted Serie A club, Salernitana for 4 million euros. He stay there wasnt to long too, he stayed there for a season before he joined Rossoneri for 8 million euros in 1999. Gattuso played deeper in midfield. He will often move forward to win the ball for the forward players and then return to his defensive position. His style of play is characterised by fierce tackling and hard work. Gattuso played his 300th game for the club in the goaless draw Vs Lille in Champions League. After 13 years at Milan our legendary number 8th decided to roundoff his amazing career at Sion Fc in Switcherland.

Titles in Ac Milan
Two Serie A titles ( 2004 and 2011)
Two Champions League titles ( 2003 and 2007)
One copa Italia ( 2003)
Fifa club world cup (2007)

Injuries
Gattuso had been experiencing vision problems in early September 2011, a few days before the season kicked off. On September 9, 2011, Gattuso clashed with team-mate Nesta when playing against Lazio. He was substituted off directly afterwards (in the 20th minute) and diagnosed with paralysis of the sixth cranial nerve. He later revealed that he had seen team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic in four different positions during the opening stages of the match, and was unable to see Nesta, resulting in the pair's clash.

We will always remember Gattuso as a legend and for what he had accomplised. Always a warrior on the pitch ready to give a 100% each game.
Thank you for everything Gennardo Gattuso!

Official: Didac Vila our new left back

“We are keeping hold of Didac Vila, during this last season he has played very well whilst on loan at Espanyol,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia. “Balzaretti will not arrive.”

Didac Vila who came to Ac Milan in January 2011 from Espanyol, didn't get many chances to play during the second half of the season. He was sent back to Espanyol on loan where he impressed and was one of the best left backs in La Liga, 2011/2012 season. Now Didac Vila will have the chance to show what he got, he will have a whole preseason to prepare and get used to play with his new teammates.
The left back position has been our weaker part of the team for a few years now. Neither; Zambrotta, Antonni, Taiwo and Mesbah has impressed.
Lets hope Didac Vila make our left back side more secured and I am really excited to see this guy play for us.
Galliani has confirmed Didac will play for us this season after a succesful last season in La Liga.
Welcome back Didac and Good luck!

Our new number 10

Number 10 is a very special number in Ac Milan. Great players of the likes, Seedorf, Rui Costa and Gullit. Has worn this number. Seedorf has confirmed his that his Milan career has come to an end. Number 10 goes to our most important player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Lets hope that under Zlatan Ibrahimovic time at Ac Milan we can win many titles. Our need number ten are going to lead us under this new era. I am very happy that a born winner like Ibrahimovic is leading us.

Muntari out for six months

Sulley Muntari, who made an impressive spring season in Milan. Will not be able to play for six months.
"Milan would like to announce that Sulley Muntari has undergone surgery for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee."

"The recovery time is around five to six months, excluding complications."

All Milan fans wish Sulley Muntari a speedy recovery!

Francesco Acerbi

A very talentful defender coming from Chievo. Acerbi was born on August 10, 1988 in Dresano, Italy. He started off his career in Pavia where he had went on two loan transfer to get more experince. In 2010, he was picked up by the Serie B club, Reggina. Acerbi impressed with his dominance in the air at the back and with a very good positioning at the back. In 2011, he arrived at Chievo, the Serie A team and he played 17 games during his team at Chievo. In those games he got plenty of attention from top Italian clubs who saw a future world class defender in Acerbi. Acerbi is co-owned by Genoa but Milan bought Chievo's half of Acerbi and he will now show all of us why Galliani purchased in Francesco Acerbi.

Francesco Acerbi dream was also to play for our beautiful colours and he will give everything for Ac Milan I am sure.
Playing together next season
“I couldn’t wait to sign for Milan. I asked Mr Braida for a pen straight away. I was waiting in the hotel for the call and when it came I couldn’t contain my happiness.” Francesco Acerbi

Clarence Seedorf, The magic wizard

Clarence Seedorf have decided to leave Ac Milan after 10 succesful season in the rossoneri colours. People have been criticing Seedorf lately, but what we cant forget everything he has done for the club. He has won several league titels with us but also two champion league titles and in his career he won a total of four champions league titles. He is a legend that wont be forgotten, a player who gave everything he had, despite his age, he always looked like he was 10 years younger when he played. The 36 year old Milan legend bid farewell to us today:
"I am leaving after 10 wonderful years. I arrived here at a delicate moment in my career, after having thought long and hard, and now I will do the same. I have to consider many aspects. I am looking for a project that convinces me. I am delighted about how my experience at Milan went. They were intense years, the seasons just flew by, as happens with all the beautiful things in life. I’d like to thank the club president and Adriano Galliani, all of the staff and everybody at Milanello. As for the fans, I would like to have the chance to thank them in a dignified way when the right moment comes along. I thank Italy, which has been my home for 13 years, and where I have brought two children into the world. There will always be a special bond, especially with the city of Milan. It has been an important adventure, half of my career I have lived in Milan with many different team-mates, who have allowed me to always be competitive. Nothing was premeditated, I had decided nothing until a few days ago. My decision to leave Milan was reached not long ago. However, our relationship is such that had I asked for a year’s extension we would have reached an agreement swiftly. Beyond the professional side of the working relationship, I have asked Dr Galliani for advice in my life. So, the possibility to continue to maintain a professional relationship in the future is open. I have spent more time in the last 10 years in Milan than with my family. Now I can continue my career elsewhere, choosing from a competitive range of options. But it won’t be easy, I want to make the right choice."
Great words from our legend! We will always remember you Clarence Seedorf!
Thank you for everything Seedorf

Ac Milan players in Euro 2012

Rossoneri Players in Euro 2012

Italy: Abate, Montovilo, Nocerino and Cassano advance to the quaterfinals. Cassano scored one of the goals in Italy 2-0 victory over Ireland.

Sweden: Ibrahimovic. Ibrahimovic and Sweden didn't advance to the next round, but Ibra should be proud over his performance during Euro cup including one wonder goal.

France: Mexes and France advance to the second round. Mexes suspended for the quaterfinal game against Spain. Mexes who didnt look to convincing in the previous games has to do better if France should have any chance winning the Euros. Let's hope we see him play at his best IF they reach semifinals. Mexes could already have play his last game at Euros 2012.

Official: Flamini leaves on free transfer

Bye bye Flamini
"His time is up because too much time has passed," Galliani said during an interview in Milan.

"We spoke to his agent and said that we don't expect anything else from the player. By the end of August another midfielder will arrive, which could be Aquilani or someone else."

Flamini who came from at very succesful season at Arsenal, never really showed his greatness in the rossoneri colours. Injuries and the the tough battle for a starting place has been the main causes of Flamini's failure at Ac Milan.

Talentful Brazilian players that could be intresting for Ac Milan

Milan has been suffered economically lately so I listed Brazilian players that could be intresting and at a reasonable price. At the moment we dont have the money for Neymar and Ganso, but other talentful players can be playing a part in the future Milan squad. Video also avaible for you guys to see the talent of these players.

                                Casimero

Club

Sao Paulo

He is the dream signing for the occupants of Casa Milan, and the player who it is believed could be the lynchpin of the Rossoneri's engine room for the next decade. A flexible midfielder, he is a rock but with educated feet, and is effective in attack and defence. Sao Paulo will want a lot for him, though, and competition is fierce.

He is probably one of the least well-known to the general public, but for some time in Brazil people have been backing the qualities of this trequartista, who has already scored eight goals in the league. Physically he looks ready for Italy, while technically there is no question. He's a good dribbler, has great vision and is excellent from set-pieces.

He is a full-back in the Brazilian mould, with defensive resilience and powerful presence in attack.
